First prize in international competition, 2002.
 

The project contains every aspect of a larger city: residential, business, commerce and tourism. The planning also involves the surrounding landscape, which is applied for agriculture, recreative areas and forest.
 

Water is a vital theme of the plan as a whole, considering the location on the rim of the Gobi desert. The city is planned as a canal city with extensive irrigation systems.
