Holmenkollen
M&Gs competition entry for the revitalization of the national Norwegian sports icon, the ski jump slope at Holmenkollen won 3rd prize among 105 entries. The project was developed in collaboration with the Norwegian company SE Architects.
The project is derived from the existing mountain landscape, and seeks to integrate technical demands like windscreens, grandstands and slope profile in a coherent shape, where the transition between the project and the surrounding nature is made indistinct. M&G’s main areas of responsibility were landscaping, design of grand stands and reorganization of infrastructure.
