EIA Silkeborg
In 2002 the Road Directorate presented an environmental impact assesment (EIA) for the highway stretch between Bording og Låsby. This resulted in a hot public debate on the choice of route, whether it should run though the city or around the city to the north.
In 2006 the directorate then presented a supplement environment investigation for a new route - the Kombi Route - which combined the two previous proposals. The new route cuts though the north-eastern part of the city.
M&G contributed to this investigation by developing an Aesthetic Evaluation Report and producing visualisations.
